restaurant rec for b-day dinner

DH is taking me out for dinner for my bday this week.  b/c i'm pg, i'd rather avoid seafood and steaks, but don't want to limit myself to italian.  anyone been to Bistro 301?  what do you think?  i'm looking for something kinda fancy, but not too over the top.  any suggestions would be appreciated.  thanks!

Hey!  You're in Louisville, right?  Since I haven't lived in Louisville in 10 years, I don't think I have any specific restaurant suggestions but what about a really good steak house?

I hope you have a wonderful birthday!  =)

  • Bourbon Bistro on Frankfort Ave is our fave.  Not familiar with Bistro 301.  Also like Ramsi's and Cafe LouLou which are cheaper.  Cafe Metro and Napa River we also love.
  • Love Bistro 301! Bes thot brown in town. Have you heard of Le Gilla Rosa? or the red roster? It is on Bardstown Road, by Bristol bar & Grill, best Itialan in town. Memosa Cafe has great pad thai ever. Hoope this helps.
