missing paycheck help needed
DH never received his May 30th paycheck. His boss said he would receive 2 checks on June 15th. He received his June 15th check, but it was only 1 check, not 2. His boss keeps making up excuses why he won't give us the money.
Who can we contact to get the money DH earned? DH was thinking of calling the BBB, but we don't know what they can do about missing paychecks. Is their another type of organization we can contact to get that money?

Try the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (specifically, ask for the Wage and Hour Section of the Division of Labor Standards. http://www.dolir.missouri.gov/ls/wagehour/
Not sure whether your DH is subject to MO's minimum wage requirements or not (depends on what type of job he has), but these people would know and could tell you whether they can help.
Obviously, making this phone call would not make your DH a very popular person with his boss (I'm guessing the company is having financial troubles leading to trouble meeting their payroll obligations?), so I hope your DH is looking for new employment.
I work in HR - this exactly for your first step. It could be a mail or communication issue.
