School District information
I think someone posted a while ago about a website that give you information on school districts, but I don't remember what it was. We are looking around the Hbg area and Middletown and I don' t know what schools are good and which ones aren't. Does anyone know anything about Central Dauphin or Middletown? TIA!!

We live in the CD school district (West Hanover Twp) but we don't have any kids at this point so I can't tell you much about the schools themselves. I can tell you though that CD is a 2% tax district where as a lot of other districts in the area are 1 or 1.5%. Many of those will charge you a privilege type tax once or twice a year to live in their district on top of your regular school taxes.
I really like the area we are in now. We used to be in Lower Paxton when we rented and I like West Hanover better.
