We are looking for a place to stay there. Any ideas?

Love Door County! Been there half dozen times but about 5 years ago. Always stay at www.scofieldhouse.com Great place, nice people, & the food is fantastic! It's at the bottom of the peninsula so what I've done is do the west side of the peninsula one day & then the other side the next day.
I also love Sister Bay, make sure you eat at Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant! It has goats on the roof and the best swedish pancakes! A great website is www.doorcounty.com
Actually, I believe the goats are no longer on the roof. Something about the safety of the animals
Though I believe none had ever fallen off in the decades they were there.
Fish Creek is a great area. The White Gull Inn is supposed to be great, though I have never been there. No matter where you stay, make sure you go for a fish boil!
DH, our dog JJ and I all went to Door County a few weeks ago. It's a wonderful vacation spot! If you're interested in bringing your dog, I'd suggest looking into http://www.doorcountyvacancies.com/eggharbor/bedrockflatscottages.html . They are dog friendly, and it's basically a first-floor (one room) apartment situation. It's not too far from quite a few parks and lighthouses, and we found it to be a really great place to stay. It's not a really fancy place so it doesn't get a lot of visitors, so you'll most likely be the only one there. The proprietor is really nice, too. :-) Let me know if you want more info!
