As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. I just don't get Twitter.

Who uses Twitter?  I honestly just don't understand it and would love for someone to tell me what the hype is all about.  Other than a certain person that likes to stalk some of us online, I don't know of anyone that cares that much about what I am doing every minute of every day.  And as much as I love my friends, I don't really care what they're doing at all times.  If something important happens in their lives, they will tell me about it one way or another.  (And if they don't, I'm probably not that good of a friend anyway.)  I get Facebook and MySpace...you can post pictures, etc.  But Twitter?

Maybe I'll start using it and really post what I'm doing at all times...

    I don't get it either.  I think it's supposed to be like the status updates of Facebook.  So basically you just update it with what you are doing 24/7.  I don't think people are that interested in my life either.  Stick out tongue  I am still addicted to FB, so maybe some day.....I'll try out Twitter.

    I like reading tweets from news sources and occasionally companies that I'm interested in. It's Just a super-quick way to skim news and hear about things that are going on. However, I haven't felt compelled to do any tweeting myself. I'm just not big on sharing things about myself that publicly. I would be interested to hear from anyone who's actively tweeting to understand how they use it and what they get out of it.

    I've been boycotting it from day one and staying strong! I agree its just like status updates on facebook. To me--that's enough to keep up with!

    I have honestly never even been on that site and had no clue what it was all about. Sounds like there is nothing there that interests me. The constant status updates kinda reminds me of some nesties/bumpies(not so much on this board anymore...but the national boards) who start threads about what food they are craving, or other random things that happen in their lives. Weird!

    I use it for business promotion and to have street cred in my industry (I'm finishing up my masters in internet marketing in a few months) so I can see some areas where it's useful, but really, LeeAnn, nobody needs to know when you're taking a dump ;)
