Just wanted to say hello from Houston to you Oregon nesties. I'm an Oregon native and am really missing it right now since the weather is Houston is awful...humidity is a dirty word as far as I'm concerned.

While we don't have the humidity, you're not missing much right now. Our weather hasn't been exactly typical -- we had snow & hail at the end of April. Who knows if we'll get some in May. I think we're all ready for some sun.

DH and I are both Texans ... we moved to Oregon about 2 years ago.  I agree that the Oregon weather is nothing to be envious of lately, but I wouldn't trade it for Texas weather!  Even though we miss our family, the heat/humidity is one of the main reasons keeping us here!

I'll trade you guys some sun for some rain, snow, or hail. LOL! Every place has its own weather issues I know. I'm just tired of the heat. I've been here six years, but I've never gotten used to it.

Hi from Portland! The weather has been strange here, but it beats humidity and heat hands down, at least for me. Maybe you can plan a Pacific NW vacation sometime to get a dose of the NW.

Hello Law Frog! I think I may have seen you around the Houston board. My husband's the one that may be reloated to the Port Arthur area....? Sound familiar?

Well, no transfer this year- so more oregon weather for me!

I think I do remember you MrsMcG! Sorry to hear you won't be joining us in Houston, but do enjoy the Oregon weather when it gets cooler:)
