School Question:

Does anyone know of a good school that i could take Online classes toward a degree.  There are so many and i dont know what is acredited and what isnt.  I have credits to transfer toward a degree in Art.  But what i am really after is a Bachelor's of Arts and eventually a teaching certification.                                           Anyone ? Help?

Thanks.

Re: School Question:

  • I did about half my credits through Franklin University in Columbus, OH. They also have a brick and mortar school.  They have an agreement with HACC to pretty much accept everything there (and I had classes from another regular college and another community college from before I moved here) and they took everything I had.  I really liked the structure and the flexibility I had. I think I got more out of the classes than I did out of regular classes too - they're very paper and assignment heavy since you can't really test well which makes you think and learn the material more.  The only class I had tests in was accounting.  Not sure what all programs they offer online.  Depending on how many credits you have, I'd also look into taking some through HACC (either there or online) because it'll be cheaper in the long run.  www.franklin.edu
  • I'm currently taking classes through Wilkes University and they are online (of course, I can take classes in person if I wanted to). I'm working towards my Master's degree, so I'm not sure if they offer this sort of thing for a Bachelor's degree. It's definitely worth looking into--its extremely convenient! Check out their website and give them a call!
