Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Pet peeves anyone??
I lurk around reading posts on some of other boards on the Nest and I have read MANY posts where people ask for "ADVISE" instead of "ADVICE" and it just makes me crazy.
Oh and another of my favorites is this type thing..."So I went their once" instead of "So I went there once". What has happened to the education system in this country that proper word usage has gone right out the window?!?!?
I'm by no means an english major or something...but it just makes me nutso! haha!

me to. I see you're point. people don't always know how to use there words.
(hope my humor travels well - I make myself CRAZY editing anything...signs, posts, powerpoints of other people....etc) Reminds me of that Friends episode with your vs you're. Do you remember it?

totally agree. We're hiring a nanny and I disqualified many candidates over their glaring misspellings/misuses of the English language.
Right now my pet peeve is people who don't do their job or lie about doing it and which then makes my life 100x more difficult.
I don't know how to grab/paste a link to a post on another board...DARN IT!!! I would totally want you all to see this for yourself....but just after I posted this about my pet peeve on bad grammar and such, that I read a posting (an unfortunately long one) on another board that is so filled with mispellings, bad grammar and incorrect word usage that I had to just laugh. (and shake my head in wonder...)
