Volunteering?

Anyone volunteer with the Red Cross here in Marion County (Indy)? I have been thinking about applying to become a first aid event volunteer. I don't have TONS of time but I want to keep my skills up, meet new people, and feel a little more settled in Indy since we've been here for 3 years now!?! ;)

Re: Volunteering?

  • Sorry, never volunteered there.  However, there is a big event coming up for those that are interested in possibly getting involved in some Indy based volunteering or young professional-based organizations.  Not sure if the Red Cross will be there, but thought I'd share the info!

  • I haven't volunteered with them, but I've volunteered at the state museum and at the various animal rescues in the area.

I recommend just signing up to talk about it and see what they say. I had an old coworker that taught the first aid/CPR classes and really enjoyed it.

Move along, nothing to see here.....
  • Thanks sweetie... I have to travel for work then but it's good to know just in case :) Thank you!
