updates? qotd? i don't have a question but wanted to start the post off since we had our u/s this morning.

our "wiggly one," so dubbed by the tech, is perfect. right on schedule for size at an estimated 11oz, heartbeat of 146, everything measuring great, little fingers and toes...and most definitely a boy! he's certainly not shy!
i don't think anything will get this smile off my face today. i'll try to get some pictures up, but i'll need to get them uploaded and edit out the personal info first. so awesome!
Re: ttc/pcp/atp wednesday
YAAAAAYYYYYYY!

I had my blood draw for beta #2 this morning. I thought I could stop the blood draws once hcg is below 5 but the nurse informed me their threshold is 2.9 :-( So if the number is going down than I hope it's way down today so I don't have to go back.
I talked to the nurse about my cycle and all my numbers and everything really does look good (other than the c/p of course). 100mg of clomid does plenty, the trigger shot obviously works, and my hormones are where they should be throughout the cycle. She said we could add an oral progesterone to the mix next time if I'd like but we'll see.
And our update:
another definite BFN today with a big temp drop. no doubt AF is on her way. sucky.

blue - Hooray!
Two - Let us know how the # comes out!
CT - Sorry for your bfn - here's hoping for lucky #3!!
Update: Not really anything report that I haven't aleady shared. We had our AI consultation on Monday, which went well. Waiting for results of my bloodwork, mainly to see my cmv status. We have our top 4 donors chosen (two are cmv neg, two cmv pos) and we'll be making our decision soon! Looks like I ovulated on CD18, which is great and now I'm just waiting for CD1 of our last cycle before our first cycle that counts!! C is getting really excited and so am I. We feel really ready to start, and looking forward to August.

Blue - YAY for your healthy baby boy!
ct - sorry for the BFN and temp drop...experiencing both of those sucks
Two - glad to hear that everything seems good even if this time did not work
Our update - not pregnant...sucks.
Blue-Congartulations! How exciting!
CT-I am sorry about the bfn. I hope #3 is your lucky cycle
Two- Hugs to you. C/P's are such a mindf**k. Take care of yourself today.
Madison-It does suck, I'm sorry.
Our update- Obviously, not pregnant and it hurts everyday. LMC is so difficult and I am losing my patience. Our social worker all but told us she thinks she will go back to dad. As tough as she is I know she won't have any kind of a chance with him and should stay with us. I am disgusted with this system. PBS will likely stay, which is amazing, but I know it's going to be a long battle. I am not sure I have the stomach to watch this play out for years on end.
I am sorry for everyone's BFN (and Two's Chem Preg.) It really stinks.
Update: The manny we'd hoped to hire took the job on the cruise ship. He wrote us a really nice note which made us even all the more sad (we think he'd of been fabulous.) We had an interview on Monday with someone who was okay but says she doesn't like to discipline and be the bad guy. Well, sometimes you have to be the bad guy. Gray is well known for testing limits and he really needs someone who sets boundries and folllow through with consequences (time out, loss of privilages, etc) when he is acting out. We had an interview scheduled for last night that she called and cancelled - we are hoping she'll reschedule and just not dissapear. This is so frustrating.
A quick "drive by" post as I am on my way out the door to a(nother) meeting. I will be so happy when this week is over!
Last dose of clomid is tonight; follie check is Monday morning. Something is definitely cooking in there, because I've been getting periodic pains in my ovaries (more L than R, but both sides sometimes). Hopefully this means I'll be able to trigger with a follie bigger than 17mm this cycle (knock on wood!).
Oh, and I need to remember to order swimmers tomorrow so I can pick them up on Friday (note to self!!).
Hi to everyone and I hope to get all caught up this weekend-- I miss you all!
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)
Peanut and Little Man are getting so big! 2 years old already!
finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
Blue - A boy! Yay!!!!!!!!!! So exciting to finally know. Congrats.
Two - Good luck with the betas. Please let us know what happens.
Duchess - I'm so sorry things are so hard. It must be very frustrating to have to deal with the system, when all you want is the best for your little ones.
2brides - Sorry about your manny. :-( That sucks.
No new news here. Just waiting for our first appt next week. No real symptoms yet besides peeing a bit more then normal and being hungrier. Six weeks is when that often starts, but maybe I'll be one of the lucky ones that doesn't get bad morning sickness. We'll see!
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD

Sorry for the BFNs and C/Ps!
Not much here except working on PCP items, enjoying being out of school for the summer, doing doula work, etc. I'm now seeing an acupunturist every other week until we start (then weekly), taking herbs and trying to get into better shape. Still on track to start this fall.
