I havent in years, but went all the time in college.  There was a local dive near campus that had karaoke every wednesday...the sketchy old men would buy us drinks and we'd have a blast up on stage.

my sister loves to go to karaoke. i can sing, but don't really like to karaoke. i generally reserve my singing to home and in the car. it's always way too lound in those places, and i have a really low tolerance for the bad singers and people who get up and mess around intentionally at karaoke.

No way, no how. It always sounds fun but I would never do it. I sing at home or in the car all the time though.

I totally do!!! I don't like to do the singing though. I love to watch my friends do the dirty work. I VERY fun and hilarious night!

I don't think I've ever done karaoke in public *shudder*, but we do have a karaoke thing at home that gets busted out at family functions, and I will join in on that one (S's family is so forgiving!). It's fun, and it even gives you a "score" to tell you how close to the actual notes you got. And it's from overseas (I forget where), so there are some funny lyrics where the translations are messed up.
