Anyone catch 16 and pregnant on MTV?

I watched one a couple days ago with a this girl who was a cheerleader.  I was shocked at how immature she was (to be a mom).  Granted, she was acting like a typical 16 y/o telling her mom to shut up and calling her names, but jeez...you are going to be a mom.

The thing that really saddened me was when she was talking with her Dr about breastfeeding and she told the Dr she wasnt going to BF at all.  The dr started talking about the health benefits to the baby and the girl asked if it would mess up her boobs--the reason she didnt want to bf, even for a week, was the effect it would have on HER body.  

She just seemed so selfish (as teenagers are and should be to a point) completely unprepared to care for a child at all.

I saw it.  When you are 16 the world revolves around you no matter what is growing in her girl parts.  Hopefully when she gives birth some of that will change.

too depressing to watch...on the other hand i want to catch the new real world cancun.  has anyone seen it yet?  how was it?

They did show her after she gave birth.  She was saying how her mom "disappeared" (went to sleep) during the night.  She then asked her mom if she could help out with the overnight care of the baby.   The mom told her no.  She also was crying and pitching a fit that her mom wouldnt buy her a car.

I was watching it on and off last night.  It made me want to go to Cancun...the water looks so amazing!  

From the parts I saw, the highlight was one of the guys hooking up with a middle aged mom haha

I preferred the MTV show "Underaged and engaged". The 16 and pregnant show is just sad and pathetic.

Yeah...that show is really depressing. ?I can't stop watching it though. ?I like the way that they film the birth like a documentary. ?It's so great to watch babies being born. ?:)

I've seen an episode of 16 & preggers.  I can't believe how naive some of these girls are.  My only hope is that it makes some girls think twice because they see how hard it is.

I saw that episode with the cheerleader!  I wanted to punch the mom in the face during the breast feeding part!  The mom said something just as horrific as the daughter but it escapes me now......

Yes!  The mom said something like "BF-ing makes your boobs saggy" to which the Dr. replied with "um, no, pregnancy does that."
