Ah, thank you! I just turned it on MTV when I saw your post and it's the Bad video!!
It's all over the news here in Japan too (the stations in English- I'm sure they are talking about it in Japanese too, but I wouldn't know). The Air Force Network stations are playing his music constantly and talking about it. So sad- I remember getting the "bad" album (cassette tape version- haha!) in the 4th grade from my brother for my birthday, along with the Weird Al Yankovic "Even Worse" tape. I have no idea why I remember that so clearly but I do.
So, do you think this is one of those events you will remember where you were when you heard? You know, like I know exactly where I was when I heard Princess Diana died, or 9/11 or that sorta thing (and no, I am not comparing 9/11 to MJ's death- it was just an example).
Oh, Kim, I completely understand what you're saying. I told Taylor last night that this will definitely be one of those "where were you when you found out" things.
I just turned MTV back on, and I guess they're still playing his stuff. I've been glued to all the news reports and stuff.
