Cleaning Service Recs?

I've given up trying to be super woman while Tim is gone...I need help with the house. I just need someone to come in twice a month to mop the floors, clean the bathrooms and kitchen.

Anyone have any recommendations? How much would a service like this cost?

Craigslist has a ton of people who do this.  I would just start calling.

just be careful with hiring non-legit cleaners...my sis hired a woman from craigslist who was cleaning houses for xtra money, and she spent the entire time on her cell phone and did a really bad job!

We use Merry Maids (and have for the past 5 years). They charge us $116 to come once/month. They do the whole house (3000 sq ft) and do everything. I really like them - they are bonded, do background checks on staff, and they have only raised my price by $2 over the past 5 years (when we started with them it was $114/month).
