Re: Daycare ?

  • Ooh, I'm interested too!
  • Hi, I stumbled onto this site looking for rec's for wedding vendors and wanted to let ya know I am a daycare teacher at Kindercare in Naperville.  I have worked at quite a few in different cities and they are all just about the same....to get down to it, they treat their employees like garbage, which in turn makes it worse for the kids.  I work there and would never send my kids there.

I hear Goddard is REALLY awesome and home-based or school-based daycare is the way to go.  They get more of the 1:1 attention compared to 8 two year olds to one teacher.  I went to Judson and they have a list of babysitters that you can call too.

I worked at Kindercare and would never send my kid there.  It was an awful experience.

Bright Horizon centers are pretty good.  Look into private schools too.  Sometimes their preschool program is cheaper than at daycare.
