Need some advise......
I needs advise...
I was trying to have a baby for some time now. I never had an OB (did everything at my primary) I went to one about 5 months ago and we started testing and the whole 9 yards. After 1 month of clomid I had 4 positive home test and 1 positive blood work....=)
Now this is my dilema. The hospital he is affiliated to is a pulic hospital and I do not want to give birth their. I really appreiciate what he did for me and I really like him but it's the hospital I do not like. I have another doctor in mind and hospital (the one my sister and cousins used) I called and made an appointment with him for next week, so i have 2 appointments for next week and don't know which one to keep.
What should I do? Please help.....

I'm a huge advocate for being comfortable and trusting your doctor, but I think it's also very important to be affiliated with the hospital of your choice. Think of it this way: If something went wrong and you or the baby needed special care (serious labor/delivery complications, NICU, etc.), which hospital would you prefer?
I'd go to the new doctor, see what you think, then make your decision. If you're comfortable with the new doc, I'd probably be inclined to make the change.
