Re: Weekend plans?
There is an Irish band playing in a local park on Sunday evening. We're going to meet some friends there for a picnic and good music. I'm very excited.
Otherwise, just relaxing.

Tomorrow we're babysitting a cutie patootie 12 month old then making a stop by a friend's house for a picnic. I"m really hoping we leave early cause I have a ton of mulching I want to get done before....
Sunday we're having Andrea's family friends over for lunch/seeing the house for the first time, then we seeing my dad for belated father's day.

Tonight Cecilia has a 9:00 softball game
(why must it be so late??), which I will be attending - wish me luck at making it through 
I will be drenching myself in bug spray, as the field is near a lake and I heard in the news that this is supposed to be a really bad mosquito weekend thanks to all the rain we've had!! Eek! 
Tomorrow is C's birthday, and per her request, we are going to tour the Sam Adams Brewery and have lunch in the neighborhood. Probably followed by a nap (we have to go early to get tickets and will have been up late from the game), and then a dinner out, and perhaps a movie - we'll see.
Sunday we are going to the Wheel Mobile! Wheel of Fortune is coming to the area and I am going to try out!
I think they have contests there too, so we'll try to win something!

well, as has been well established i am a big, giant dork. the nhl draft is this weekend, and our team is having an open house at the arena tonight. free parking and entry, meet the players, tours of the locker room, etc. so we're thinking about going to that.
there's also a big festival at a park near the arena so we may head over there, but she has to work tonight so we may not have time--or she may need to rest before she goes in. we might go tomorrow instead or just skip it altogether since we won't really be able to go sunday.
i have a baby shower to go to on sunday (she's also working saturday night so she'll probably be home sleeping while it's happening) so i need to go pick a gift. i'm going to try to convince her to go along with me for that tomorrow afternoon and maybe start looking at some stuff for our little one as well. :-D
My parents are coming in town today. We haven't seen them in almost a year.
Tonight L and the boys are getting much needed haircuts. Then we'll meet my parents for dinner at Pei-Wei.
Tomorrow - We have a nanny interview at 8am (hopefully she is the one!) and then I'll need to run by the grocery store since our cupboards look like Mother Hubbards - bare. I am sure we'll play outside with the kids before it gets too hot (my parents are brining them Super Soakers and outdoor water toys.) In the evening I think we'll go out to eat and to see an outdoor concert.
Sunday - No idea what we'll do. My mom's cousin in coming into town at noon. I have given thought to going to the aquarium - but it'll be $200 for all of us to go! Maybe we'll grill out for dinner. It is supposed to be hot. Blech.

Can you get passes at the public library? Ours has passes to all the museums ect.
Anyway for us we have no real plans. We went and bought the crib mattress yesterday since we had a 15% off coupon for bru so maybe we will be bringing that in and putting it in the crib tonight. We are also working on framing some fabric that we bought on etsy for the the nursery. I ironed it today so perhaps if we can get motivated we will get that project done tonight. I have to work at 3:30 today so when i get home we will have some dinner and then work on the nursery a bit.
Sat I have yoga and S is going to hang out with a friend and go to the movie and lunch. Sat night we have no plans. I am actually pretty happy about this since I have been feeling pretty crappy this week. My feet are really swollen and I think I have a stuck SI joint and am in some decent pain. I think being off my feet will help with the swelling and I hope taking it easy makes the joint problem resolve itself or at least feel better. Ok enough whining.

Tonight: Drop DD off at her Dad's house, stay home and relax (feet are swollen and sore from making pies and cakes last night), DW is going out with her family for her cousin's birthday.
Saturday: Visit DW's family and BBQ. Probably go swimming at some point and take full advantage of the sun. I have to prep pie fillings in the evening and make mounds of pie crust.
Sunday: Bakes pies, be lazy, bake a cake, be lazy again.

Tomorrow - I'm helping my co-worker get the nursery ready for his son that is due next month. I'm not very excited about this but I promised to help prior to the c/p.
Sunday - house projects. I'm also going to ry and get to a navy boat that is docked here in town. It's the same type my dad served on (the last one left) and he has asked me to go get him a magazine they sell on board. So hopefully if the weather is okay I can go tour the ship and see what my dad's life at sea was like.
