Downers Grove?!
I'm new to this blog thing and pretty much everything else in my life for my husband and I just moved to Illinois in May. I'm currently looking for a job while adjusting to my husband's overly demanding work schedule. We live in Downers Grove and I'd love to meet up with people while he's away at work. My hobbies are reading, working out, laying out, golfing, traveling, and of course drinking! I do have to say though, I'm more of a "pub girl" than a "club girl". I'm also interested in culture and am pretty independent. If interested in meeting up or your life sounds a lot like mine, let me know!

If you are crafty, try Archiver's on Butterfield, I met a ton of great ladies in the area that way! DH moved me here from the city and I was pretty miserable out here at first, but now I love it!
Where did you move from?
I'm in Downers too. I agree with smiles that Ballydoyle is a good pub. There's a cute wine bar down there too. There are tons of restaurants on Butterfield, or you can head into Naperville.
You should try to go to next west burbs gtg!
