 OK, I'll admit it - I was totally snooty about the Twilight series before I picked them up and started reading them on the HM.  Now I'm turning into a total junkie.  I read the first two books on the HM, got totally hooked, watched the movie and even read Midnight Sun - the version of Twilight from Edward's perspective that Stephanie Meyer hasn't finished since it got leaked. I had the final two books of the series waiting for me when I got home from the HM b/c I ordered them on Amazon.com, and now I'm waiting on DH to get home from work and watching the movie for probably the sixth time.  I'm already contemplating re-reading the books too.

I am drinking a vodka water with a splash of coconut rum we brought back from our honeymoon (St. Thomas).  The coconut rum addition makes it unbelievable - who knew.

I hate my pro pix, but our photographer was my Dad's bosses daughter, so I smiled like nothing way wrong.

I'm dreading my friend's wedding in July that I'm a BM in because the bride is acting more controlling than I was and I don't like being told what to do.

I'm not looking forward to going to my SIL's wedding in August because of the circumstances behind why they are getting married and also the kind of wedding they are anticipating putting on.  I know I shouldn't care, but sometimes I do....Lame I know.

Can I be nosey and ask why they are getting married and what they are anticipating?

emmypants: They have an age difference between the two of them.  He's been married before and has 3 kids, she had to talk him into having a kid and wants to start on that kid as soon as she can.  They announced that they were getting married the middle of May for an August wedding.  They are trying to go extremely cheap with everything for the wedding.  I'm all for saving money on wedding things (we did a lot of that), but they are being a bit ridiculous and unrealistic on how much stuff will cost them (like the basics for food for the number of people they are inviting).

Oh heavens.  Are you sure we aren't talking about the same person??  My friend is like that, only they haven't gotten married.  Just been "engaged" for 2 1/2 years while he cheats on her.  I hope she wakes up one of these days...

I agree with you, I'm all for saving money, but lets be real here.  Wow, hope things get better... if they can even.

Just outta curiousty, what's the age difference?  I'm 24 & DH is 30.  I've had some people look at me like I said I'm 12 and DH is 45.  I don't think our gap is that bad.

She's 27.  He's 43.  It would be her first marriage and his second.

I am annoyed when people I know that are planning their weddings now don't care about it as much as I did.  I hate the wedding party is not going to come close to matching as she let all us girls pick our own dress as long as it was from Alfred Angelo including pick the fall color we wanted then made the groomsmen tuxs black and green oh by the way $170!  If you don't care let us where something out of our closet!  done with rant..

My confession: Even though I know it is unrealistic right now, I would love to have a baby. We don't have the money and we have only been married 1 month so I know it isn't the right time...it doesn't stop my body and mind from screaming at me to start the baby making process already!

I am worried my best friend is making a mistake by getting married to someone she just met for the very first time on May at our wedding!  They are complete opposites!  But how would they know they havent even known eachother for 2 months?!

I've gained a few pounds since the wedding because of laziness with exercise and bad eating (HM, vacations, holidays, etc.) and it's driving me nuts so I'm getting back into my pre-wedding routine this week!
