Best Fireworks Show to go to in DFW?

My DH, in-laws, and I are heading to DFW for the 4th of July weekend from the Austin area. What's the best place to go for awesome fireworks displays? We'll be staying near the DFW Airport. TIA!!!

We live in Keller, but we always go to the Southlake Town Square fireworks show.?

It's always a really good show. We always sit on top of the parking garage next to the movie theater. The fireworks are always really close when you sit there. ?We like to get there early (like around 7:00 or so) and go eat somewhere in the square and bring our lawn chairs to the top of the garage. They don't allow cars on the top floor so that more people can fit up there. Pretty cool set-up, I think.

i'm not sure how good the show is but they do fireworks over lake grapevine for the 4th and you'll be really close to that

also for something fun to do you can go to the horse races at lonestar park and after the races they have fireworks

We haven't been able to go since we moved down here, but I've heard that Addison's Kaboom Town show is awesome.  They are doing it on the 3rd.

We love the July 4th Ft. Worth Cats baseball game and the fireworks that follow

If the Rangers are in town that night, it's always fun to go to the ballgame and stay for the fireworks.

The Glass Cactus is a bar right next to the Gaylord that has a huge balcony over Lake Grapevine.  It's fun to go sip some wine and watch the fireworks.  They also do fireworks every Friday this summer.

We will be going to Southlake.

Southlake and Grapevine are right by the airport.

Addison has always had the best show, but the traffic is a nightmare! I think we'll hit Southlake this year, if we go at all. It's not too far from the airport area and you can easily spend the day there shopping, see a movie, etc so you're not trying to travel there right before it starts.

Fair Park Fourth at...duh, Fair Park.  This year they're opening up the Cotton Bowl for seating during the fireworks.
