We are planning a trip to Branson for the 4th weekend.
We booked a room at the Hilton Convention Center in Branson. I noticed it is close to the Promenade.
What are some nice activities we can do. My 13 year old SS will be coming and I will be 33 weeks pregnant so some activities are out for me.
I can do some light water activities though.
Where is a good place to watch fireworks. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
What will/is the weather like. Humid?? We are from Houston and it has been record highs in the 100's with crazy humidity.
Re: Branson, MO questions
We stayed at the Hilton on the Promenade in 2007 and it was very nice.
The Promenade isn't too bad. They have a water and fire show at night that is kinda cool.
I personally really enjoyed Dixie Stampede and it might be something your SS would also like.
I have heard the Titanic Museum is really cool but I have never personally been there.
Celebration City and Silver Dollar City are amusement parks that your step son would like the most. Silver Dollar City is a beautiful park and even if you can't ride the rides there are still many other attractions you can enjoy. Oh and the food is so good. A pregnant woman's dream.
The weather I imagine would be similar to STL. The thing about STL weather is that is changes constantly. The joke here is " If you don't like the weather, stick around it will change in ten minutes."
