Things to do in SD with two year-old twins
Hello,
We are taking our kids to SD for a week coming up. They are two and change.
We plan to do Sea World and the Scripps Aquarium, etc.
Any fun gems you can think of. My guys aren't big enough for amusement park rides and such but love to explore.
Are they too little for LegoLand? I read that they have a water play area and my kids are alwys up for getting soaked. And what about fun things to do at Balboa park?
We have been to SD many times as we live in LA.
TIA!
Re: Things to do in SD with two year-old twins
They might actually be big enough for Legoland - it's geared more towards younger children. I took DS2 when he was 2 and he still had a good time. If you do that, make sure you bring bathing suits and a change of clothing for them (any maybe yourselves!) as they have this really cool water area and you get soaked!
I'd also suggest the New Childrens Muesum in downtown - it has a LOT of fun stuff for the little ones (it is FOR kids after all).
Balboa Park would probably be fun, I doubt they'd enjoy any of the muesums, but it's always fun to wander there.
If you are looking for a good family beach, head to Coronado, really family friendly and very pretty too.
Have fun!
The zoo. We took my son (20 months), and my nephew (3) there and they had a good time. Sea World (bring swimsuits), they have a HUGE play area.
If I can think of any more, i'll post.
I didn't think anything would fit our son at balboa park.
I second the downtown Children's Museum. It is so much fun!
Not sure about Lego Land because I have never been, but if they aren't big enough there is always the new aquarium they just put in there.
