I'm going to Home Depot tonight to look at some colors. I was thinking orange and yellow with green accents. This is a small pic of my kitchen, I was going to use the orange against the cabinet walls and the yellow on the opposite side of the room, which is the next pic..
The opposite side:
Any thoughts? Or suggestions?
Re: Kitchen paint
Are you going for bold colors?
Yeah, sort of. Right now the side of the cabinets is butter cookie and the other is green tea. Which I heart, but apparently the others in my building have copied my color scheme. We're all family and I'm on the third fl-so now I have people coming to my house saying "you have the same colors as so and so" I think to myself no, I don't-they copied me. I had it first-arrgh
I want to change it up-kinda like a salsa, saucy kitchen. Like get colored plates and mugs. DH says its gonna look like a mexican restaurant.
Flip the orange and yellow. You want a color that will reflect more light surrounding the cabinets. Plus, finding the right orange that wouldn't clash with the cabinets might be tough.
It sounds good though!
I like that color combo for your kitchen. I do agree with flipping. If you google yellow and orange walls/kitchen and click on images you can get a few ideas (be forwarned, you'll have to weed through a bit of them!).

Please post pics when done! I'd love to see the end result!
