2. Do you have a bipolar relationship with cleaning, like me? Since I asked the question- Yes! Some days I loooove cleaning, and other days it feels like a prison sentence.
3. What is your favorite room (and why)? I love our dining area (not quite a room) b/c of my newish table cloth from Target. LOVE it.
4. Do your pets prefer one room over another? Usually they love to be wherever we are, but when it's this hot they're in the office (which is the coldest room in the house).
5. Do you have any outdoor space? Yep, a small backyard with a huge garden, shed, garage, and homemade patio that looks pretty bad but I love it anyway
6. How would you characterize your house's style? modern comfortable
7. Where do you spend the most time (outside of sleeping)? during the shool year its the office, but now I hope to be in the kitchen a lot more!
8. Is there any one room that never seems to get cleaned? our office def gets neglected. I just can't seem to get it (and then keep it) organized.

3. What is your favorite room (and why)? My bathroom. Because I re-did it all by myself.
4. Do your pets prefer one room over another? Our girl loves her room (her bed is in the closet of K's office - no doors) and our boy just stays wherever we are.

7. Where do you spend the most time (outside of sleeping)? In the den/tv room. I read on the couch, cut coupons, watch tv, etc.
8. Is there any one room that never seems to get cleaned? My office. Well not never, but just not as often as the other rooms.

2. Do you have a bipolar relationship with cleaning, like me? not really - i just dont have the time to clean as much as i would like so it goes in cycles (dishes pile up for a couple days, then everything is cleaned)
3. What is your favorite room (and why)? kitchen. its newly renovated and totally *me*
4. Do your pets prefer one room over another? my pup goes wherever i go and the cats mostly hang out in the living room - plenty of windows to bask in the sun.

8. Is there any one room that never seems to get cleaned? not really. i try to clean every room top to bottom at least once a week, but if i dont get to it, it'll at least get cleaned 1x/month by our cleaning lady

1. Is there anything that can be found in every room of your home? Well...at this time, we have the same flooring throughout the house so I guess that's it. I can't think of anything else.
2. Do you have a bipolar relationship with cleaning, like me? Maybe...we tend to let things pile up slightly and then catch it all up at once...versus little, constant cleanings...
3. What is your favorite room (and why)? Our living room. We've worked so hard with our makeover and I'm so pleased with how it turned out. It feels good just being in there.
4. Do your pets prefer one room over another? They hang out on their doggy blanket in the living room floor mostly. They love us.haha.
5. Do you have any outdoor space? 10 acres of it. We have friends over and get a fire going and sit around talking, listening to music, looking at the fire, tending the fire and having a few cocktails. Good times out in the country.
6. How would you characterize your house's style? Contemporary/modern.
7. Where do you spend the most time (outside of sleeping)? Our kitchen/living room area is very open and that's where we spend alot of our time. We love to cook too.
8. Is there any one room that never seems to get cleaned? Our extra bedroom/office/extra closet space room. We store stuff in there and well...since we only pop in for an item here and there...what's to clean..? (That's my story and I'm sticking to it!)

2. Do you have a bipolar relationship with cleaning, like me? No. I generally don't like it.
3. What is your favorite room (and why)? Our room. I love the color (Silvery Sage), the high ceilings, the light (5 windows), and my big King sized bed (big enough for all of us.) The kitchen is a close second.
4. Do your pets prefer one room over another? They spend a lot of time on our bed when we aren't home and a lot of time under our bed when we are (they don't like the kids - too loud.)
5. Do you have any outdoor space? We have a big deck that we use a lot.
6. How would you characterize your house's style? Comfortable and somewhat put together (we've lived here 5 years and still don't have window treatments - we kept thinking we were going to move.)
7. Where do you spend the most time (outside of sleeping)? Depends on the weather. When it is nice - outside. Our kids LOVE to play outside either with the water table on the deck or in the front yard/driveway with their bikes, baseballs/bats, golf clubs, etc. When it is colder, we spend a lot of time in the living room or playroom (basement.)
8. Is there any one room that never seems to get cleaned? No. We pretty much clean the whole house every week - the only thing I don't do every week is the boys bathtub - but they don't use it since they use our garden tub.
1. Is there anything that can be found in every room of your home? Yup, tissues! I am always blowing my nose and sneezing, so there are boxes of tissues everywhere. :-)
2. Do you have a bipolar relationship with cleaning, like me? Definitely. I hate it a lot of the time, but every once in a while I'll get this urge to clean/declutter.
3. What is your favorite room (and why)? Hmm... I love hanging out in the living room, since its basically the center of the house.
4. Do your pets prefer one room over another? Daisy loves to be where ever we are... but she'll lay down in the kitchen a lot since it has linoleum floors which stay cool compared to the carpeted floors.
5. Do you have any outdoor space? Yup, we have a nice sized back yard.
6. How would you characterize your house's style? Right now... a mish-mash!! We still have some stuff from college, combined with some stuff we picked up when we moved into our first apartment post-college, combined with stuff from his parents when they moved, plus the stuff we got when we were married! I'd love to clean the house out a bit and make it all more our style now, but $$ limits that.
7. Where do you spend the most time (outside of sleeping)? The living room or computer room.
8. Is there any one room that never seems to get cleaned? Hmm... maybe the computer room? We never seem to just start cleaning in there the way we do in other rooms.

1. Is there anything that can be found in every room of your home? books/magazines are probably the only thing that are in every room. do they belong in every room? that is another question.
2. Do you have a bipolar relationship with cleaning, like me? sort of. my work schedule causes me to have a little bit of a hard time keeping up with the cleaning.
3. What is your favorite room (and why)? our bedroom. i feel calm and relaxed when i'm in it.

6. How would you characterize your house's style? probably the best fitting word would be eclectic. we are not 100% married to one particular style. some modern, some traditional, not as many as antiques as we'd like.
7. Where do you spend the most time (outside of sleeping)? tie between the living room and the office/guest room. we watch a lot of tv, so we're in the living room a lot. and the office is where the computer is, and where i fold/iron laundry.

3. What is your favorite room (and why)? i love our bathrooms. and i'll love the master even more when we finish it. we did all the work ourselves, so it's exactly what we wanted and looks fabulous.

Is there any one room that never seems to get cleaned? my office. it's such a mess. i really need to go through it, though, because we'll likely be combining our offices into one room and making what is now my office into a guest room--the current guest room is going to become the nursery. unless we combine my office and the guest room so we both keep our own private spaces, which would be nice. we haven't completely decided yet. but i still need to clean it.

My living room because it's adorable! It's done in beach colors and is really relaxing.

We have a small patio we can fit a small grill and a couple of small patio chairs on. I also just tore out the 4 small palms from the border and planted chilis, zucchini, tomatoes, bell peppers, oregano, thyme, and sage.

3. What is your favorite room (and why)? Right now the nursery. It is so sweet with all the pink and cuteness.
4. Do your pets prefer one room over another? Rylee likes our bedroom and Murphy likes whatever room we are in.

1. Is there anything that can be found in every room of your home? Other than clutter? Tools. E loves them. And books. They're everywhere but the bathroom, and they sometimes sneak in there.
2. Do you have a bipolar relationship with cleaning, like me? Perhaps. I definitely have manic cleaning periods bisected with long period of sloth. I hate cleaning, but love the results.
3. What is your favorite room (and why)? Right now, I probably like the office best. It gets the most light and I did a major reorganizing a few months ago, so now it's the most peaceful place in the house. It's also the only room I don't use regularly, so there's a quietness that balances the messy craziness of the rest of our place.
4. Do your pets prefer one room over another? No pets.
5. Do you have any outdoor space? We have a deck, and a backyard where the landlord grows vegetables in raised beds. We garden in the postage stamp front yard.
6. How would you characterize your house's style? Eclectic.
7. Where do you spend the most time (outside of sleeping)? On the cushy couch in the living room or in the kitchen.
8. Is there any one room that never seems to get cleaned? The bedroom. It's never a priority.

3. Favorite room (and why)? Hmm. Maybe our finished basement. We got it recarpeted last year and it looks nice, and we just recently got a big TV, so it's a great place to watch movies.
4. Pets prefer one room? Our dog usually follows one or the other of us around (and constantly tries to "herd" us into the same room). If we haven't hung out in the basement in a few days, she will sit at the top of the stairs and stare at the door leading down there until we agree to go down. It's really cute.
5. Outdoor space? Front yard with tiny porch and back yard with large deck. We don't spend much time out there, though, because we hate mosquitoes. I'd love to have a screened in porch!
6. House's style? 1950 Cape Cod.
7. Spend the most time? Probably the bedroom. We hang out in there when we're too tired to go downstairs.
8. One room that never gets cleaned? Well, not never, but the guest room sometimes morphs into a temporary storage room in between guests. The office could usually use a good thorough cleaning, too.
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)
