The big #2...
So, here we are again, no one is in site...so I'll post a question hoping that someone hears my call ;-)
Does anyone have any big (or small) plans for your 2nd anniversary? I know its over a month away (mine is 8/04) but some of you may already know.
DH and I may be going to CA to visit a couple of my friends for a few days. I was going to visit my sister in Germany in July but our plans fell through, so i'm kind of bummed. However, going to spend time with friends in a new place would be a lot of fun also. Plus, it'll be a great energizer before the school year starts. Anyone from CA?? We'll be in the LA/Monterey area.

I can't believe we're rolling up on 2 years already! Still feels like the wedding was just yesterday! For our 1st Anniversary we had a big bbq with friends & family. This year we dont have anything big planned. We're hoping to close on our house by the end of this month so we may be throwing a house warming party close to our 8/24 anniversary.

I too cannot believe we are coming up on our second! Where did the time go? We plan on going to The Hamptons since it is a quick (2.5 hr) getaway from our northern NJ home.
Last year we began the tradition of me putting on my dress and we record ourselves and talk about what has happened over the past year. We plan on doing this every year so when were a few years in, we can look back and see how much we've grown and aged together. Only problem is that I'll have to lug my dress to Long Island, but ah, who cares...Its becoming tradition!
p.s. Im going to start another tread to ask this, but did you stick to the traditional "paper" gift for your first? If so, what did you give/get...and what are you planning on for year #2 which is cotton?
aww that is a really cute tradition!
I stuck with the paper for his gift last year & got him tickets to Miami Dolphins game in Miami. Is it cotton this year? clothing i guess?
