Vegas Vacation Rentals - what area?

Hi ladies! Hoping you can help us. :)

My husband & I are planning a trip to Vegas this summer. We have a hotel room booked already, but now think that renting a house for the week might be a better idea. This will be our 5th trip to Vegas and want a different experience. We'd like to see a show or two while we're in town, but don't mind a short drive to get there (less than half hour). Any suggestions on what areas we should look into? Summerlin, Henderson, something closer?

Why not rent a timeshare on the strip or just off the strip, that way you can get a kitchen and larger living space but still be close enough to the strip to get to where you want to be fast? Otherwise, I recommend checking out the District at Green Valley Ranch and see if you can get a condo in the district (might be kinda pricey though) or a home within walking distance to Green Valley Ranch.  The area would be Green Valley Ranch and the zipcode would be 89074, I believe.  That would put you about 15 minutes to the strip, without traffic.

  • Thank you for the ideas! I'll definitely check into that :)
