1) I really need to figure out what I'm supposed to be working on at work.
2) Why do I live in a state where it rains in June?
3) I think after 2 months I'm accustom to decaf
4) I really want to go home sometime this summer
5) I'm super jealous K is going to Cali for 10 days
6) I'm happy friends are coming over for the 4th of July
7) I made coconut tarts last night and I can't wait to go home and eat one
8) I have 222 emails I need to sort through by the end of the day
9) My boss has a really creepy, turtle like smile
10) I totally forgot - my breakfast is still in the toaster!
1) I just did a TTT on my blog, but since my brain is a mile a minute, i'll have no problem coming up with another 10
2) I'm trying to re-commit to weight watchers. I've let myself get way out of control and i'm really unhappy with the weight I've gained and the way I look.
3) My dad was away for a week (habitat for humanity) and broke his cell phone on his first day. When he came home, the first thing he said to my mom was "Did E & A get a baby yet?!" - i can only imagine how stressed he was all week thinking he wouldn't get the news.
4) My dad's enthusiasm for our fostering is shocking. I mean, I always knew he'd be a great grampy, but he isn't enthusiastic about anything, ever.
5) The town next to ours was hit badly by a tornado last friday. We got some side effects but no where near the same level of devestation (ie: houses cut in half by trees).
6) We saw Hangover and wasn't nearly as impressed as people said we should be. I think they got our hopes up too high.
7) Speaking of hangovers, 2 martinis on a work night has now become too much. My former sorority girl self is ashamed.
8) I've had a known cinnamon allergy since I was in the 6th grade. Many people know this and are so sweet to warn me, alter recipes, ect. Not my mom. Not only does she constantly forget, but she's always trying to push foods with cinnamon in them (ie: "I made this apple pie just for you!" "Looks great, but is there cinnamon in it?" "Yeah, why?"). Thats just a little glimpse of the relationship we have.
9) IRL I've never called my mom "mom"
10) Kylie has taken to sitting on top of my curtain rods. I have to stop on my way home because she actually bent one yesterday. She's almost 2 - shouldnt the crazy kitten tendencies be over by now?

1. We're discussing on gchat right now if we could get pregnant despite the living situation...
2. I am tired.

6. I'm bummed I'll be alone (at a conf in Boston) for my birthday.
7. I'm taking Amtrak for the first time to said conference.

1. 3y is definitely the new 2y. UGH. At 3y, they have figured out the whole manipulation thing - and are good at it.
2. We took my parents to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner last night to celebrate their 40th anniversary. We paid. I almost choked when I got the bill. Good thing it is a once in a lifetime deal.
3. We are so ready for life to get back to normal. My parents eat late - which has been hard on the kids and go to bed late - meaning they haven't gotten to bed before 10pm since Thursday night. They are exhausted. I am too.
4. I have been at work 90 minutes and haven't done any work. None. I should get on that, huh?
5. Our 9th anniversary is in 2 weeks. I have no idea what to get L. My ILs will be in town - so going out solo is out of the question (they don't babysit.) Last year I bought her a GPS so she "could always find her way back home to me." Made her cry.
6. We have a busy weekend planned - Friday we have off and are taking the kids to a priate storytime/boat ride and Saturday is a parade in the AM and then dinner/fireworks in the PM. Another late night.
7. Seeing Elise's P-town pictures make me want to go. NOW. I went (for the day) once when I was 14 with my parents. Not the same. Maybe I can figure out going for our 10y anniversary next year.
8. I am looking forward to eating my leftovers from last night for lunch.
9. I think the Crazy Craig's Carrot Cake Cheesecake is the best (and have some more in the fridge for tonight.)
10. I can't believe that June is over.
Bonus - We've hired a nanny! Thank Goodness. She seems great (although not as great as the manny) and I am hoping she works out for the year. Fingers crossed.
Bonus #2: I am tired of the spamers coming over to our boards and being jerks. We are a nice group - just leave us alone, please.
Alone in Boston...never when are you in town I hope we can grab dinner!
1. My wife and I are wearing coordinating pjs and think it is really cute.

3. I have to work for 3 whole hours today and am dreading it.

6. I sometimes forget that S actually didn't get me pregnant (and yes I was a bio major!)
7. I made really good banana bread yesterday and it is so yummy
8. I can't get dressed because all my shorts (all 2 pairs ) are in the dryer
9. I am really going to miss my nanny kids next year
10. I love that my wife and I are home together right now. I wish we didn't need money and could just chill out together all the time!

1. Its a rainy day here, which should motivate me to clean... but it hasn't kicked in yet.
2. I truly dipsise (sp) K on 3rd shift.
3. I baked muffins this morning for our favorite soldier and would really like to keep them for myself.
4. I am pretty sure one of our dogs needs therapy of some kind.
5. I sold back a bunch of text books yesterday and made $143! Then I spent half of it at T.J.Max. on a baby shower outfit.
6. We have a mulberry tree in the backyard. Peyton (crazy dog) has black smears all over her. She rolls in the berries. It looks like war paint.
7. I am worried about the next few years. I hate not knowing whats coming next, and I just have no clue. K wants grad school, but also wants to settle down in Indy and buy a house (so we can start our family). Those 2 things are pretty much mutually exclusive.

9. I really want to read Kendyl's birth story, but I am also scared! It must have been pretty scary...
10. I want to write my OWN birth/adoption story!
1) I learned my lesson about asking for opinions on TN
2) I want to move to Northern California
3) I would like to ride a bike to work instead of driving
4) I hope the ENT specialist doesn't want to put tubes in DD's ears
5) My throat is a bit sore and it's not fun to swallow

7) I wish I had the money to finish my tattoo
8) It's really hot again today
9) I want to go to Costa Rica for 2 weeks with a friend of mine but it's not financially possible right now
10) My pies are selling like crazy!
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
1. Got my bloodwork back from the midwives - cmv negative, so that eliminates 2 of the donors we like, leaving us with two.
2. I don't really care which of the two donors we go with. Maybe we'll start with the one with the super cute baby picture (sooo cute!) - the bank that the other guy's at doesn't provide those.
3. This weekend we are going to Newport with my family and I cannot wait!! I just hope hope hope we get decent weather - it would be nice to go in the pool!
4. As usual, I thought of great things to get C for her birthday after the fact. She did like her present, but this other idea would have been good too. If I have some cash this month, maybe I'll pick it up for her anyway.
5. I want new lamps for our bedside tables. Not in the budget. Maybe I'll find something cheap that I love.
6. I'm not sure if the new bra that I'm wearing is a little too tight, or I just need to get used to it. I hate how hard it is to find the perfect bra.
7. Our apartment could use some cleaning. Not sure when I'll get to that. It's tidy, but it needs to be cleaned.
8. I'm supposed to be getting made a regular employee this week (been "temp" status for 3 months), and I want my offer letter!!
9. Looks like my cousin is going to buy my car - I am so thrilled to be getting it off our hands, and that money into our baby account where it belongs!!
10. Cecilia informed me yesterday that she now thinks about the baby every single day. My heart melted. I love her so much.

finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
1. We had healthy low carb yummy dinner planned and ordered a pizza anyway.
2. We think we learned some sort of lesson about posting too...'nuff said.
3. My dog smells like corn chips...and I like that about her. She also is on a steady benadryl dose and I really think that is ok (you are being a good mom rikki)
4. My new cell phone sucks and it's the penny phone so I just want to keep the damn thing anyway.
5. I am going to my parents' house tomorrow for an overnight...solo...to help them with house stuff....dangerous ...just me, them, and long silences.
6. Can we just get DW pregnant now and not have to go to more extreme measures that are not covered by homophobic anti-feminist insurance companies?
7. Today I did a training on better serving gay and bi men that led to all sorts of crazy declarations on my part about what types of s** people have and how it does NOT indicate orientation.
8. I crave over priced coffee at starbucks.
