We are going with a group in September, none of us have ever been. Is it better to buy show tickets there or do it online? Thanks for the help!
Re: Vegas Help
Are you going with a group that likes to gamble a lot of money? Sometimes you will get free tickets from the hotel just by playing there. However, if you are not planning on doing a whole lot of gambling and know exactly what shows you want to see I would get the tickets now, especially for weekend night shows. I really loved the Cirque De Sol (sp?) shows. They have a couple different ones there, we went to the one in Treasure Island but the Mirage has the Beatles one that I think would be cool to see too. Blue Man Group was cool but I think I would have had a better time at something like the Bette Midler show (sp?). The comedy acts are great too! There's just so much you might want to wait for some until you get there and just book one or two that's most important for you to see before! Have fun!!

sorry...not sure why it cut me off there and posted twice...
Anyway...I really wanted to see any of the Cirque du Solei shows and have heard nothing but great things from people who did see them, so I'd HIGHLY recommend seeing one if you're interested.
We saw Mystere, the one that runs at Treasure Island and was featured in "Knocked Up". Though I'd recommend any of them really. Cirque always puts on a great show.
For the comedy shows, you can go to one of the cheap tickets booths and see what's available for that night. They don't advertise availability ahead of time, but there are usually a bunch to choose from. One booth in the mall that's in the middle of the Strip and one... somewhere else, don't remember!

Oh! I forgot one thing - if you don't get tickets before you go down there - DON'T fall for the hotel-worker looking people in the casinos that say you can get you discounted tickets to the shows if you sign up and go to listen to a sales pitch thing for their timeshares. When we were there my friend wanted to see the Thunder Down Under (which ewww - it was not that good...), so we signed up and went thinking it would be the 1/2 hour/hour thing they told us it would be. Yeah 3 1/2 hours later we finally got out of there after being asked about 100 times to sign up for this timeshare. It was SO not worth the $20 we saved on the tickets.
(Sorry this got long - I'm obviously having issues with being short and sweet today.)
Awesome! thank you for all of the help!
SDhex-Dh loves comic's so we will keep that in mind. BTW how was the Honeymoon?
