good places for lunch in Madison???
Hi WI nesties! I usually post on D&R and the home buying forum.
I'm traveling to Madison tomorrow for business, and I have 4 days worth of lunches that I can pick out on the town. We're staying in a hotel on the capitol square, so if you have any recommendations for your favorite places within walking distance, let me know! I've been there twice before, so I'm fairly familiar with what's along State St (though I could use a reminder since it's been a few years) but anything off the beaten path would be great. I'd love to eat at a great Thai place!
TIA!

I'm a big fan of Cafe Continental.
Here are a few great restaurants on the square for lunch:
A great Irish pub is Brocach:

All of the above are great suggestions. I also like Amy's Cafe

I really like the Old Fashioned & Tutto Pasta.
The Concourse Hotel has a nice salad bar.
Well, it was a successful trip! I got to eat at some amazing places :-)
I went to the Vietana Thai/Laotian place (I'd been there before a long time ago - still the BEST Thai I've ever had)
I got sushi at some place on State St, I forget what it's called.
Had Indian on at a place right on the square - they have a great buffet.
Hung out at the Great Dane and the Irish pub.
It was a great couple of days in Madison!
