"Paper" anniversary gifts
What did you give? Yeah, we're doing the traditional thing but I don't think it would break DH's heart if I went another route.
I ordered 2 art prints online that he was oogling, but I'm having to deal directly with the flakey artist and now I'm worried they won't get here by the weekend. Help!

This would only be part of a gift, but you could do a magazine subscription or a book.
I like the gift certficate ideas.
Erin-I ordered a cool nightsky print online, but I KNOW it won't be here by the wknd. NOTHING gets here on time! But I'm just going to print a mini copy of it out, along w/ tickets to the Tokyo Dinner Cruise, & put them inside a card. That's the best I could do, so it'll have to work. Of course, at this point, the soonest B will get home is Friday, and that is looking doubtful, so it may not matter and we will have to celebrate the next weekend (when he leaves again for another 2 week trip!)

this is what I did. i got it at www.indigonight.com - it's the sky/stars/moon as they looked at your wedding location on the night you're married (or any other significant date you pick). i love it - I didn't get it framed through them - just got a nice plain black frame from Michael's after it arrived.

LOL - one day... one day. But my ticker should tell you how NOT ready I am for that yet! When I meet my weight loss goal you better believe I'm getting them, more for me than for him!
I saw that Air Supply (one of his faves) is playing with the Meyerson in September so tickets to that could work! I'm going to hit Amazon for movie related magaines and coffee table books too. Thanks for the inspiration!
