I am a Bmore nestie and I will be visiting Milwaukee in August. I will be there for the Harley Davidson Anniversary and I am trying to find a hotel. All of the local hotels are already booked. I was hoping you could tell me what nearby towns aren't too far of a drive from Milwaukee?
TIA

Thank you for your help. Apparently all hotels within an hour of Milwaukee have all been booked for over a month now. I am backing out of going, I told dh to just go and pitch a tent. LOL I will be visiting my family back home in Chicago and Indiana anyways so it just gives me more time.
Thanks again
You may have a really tough time finding a hotel at this stage in the game, but I'm holding out hope for you as the 105th is NOTHING to miss!
My husband and a bunch of our buddies will also be there (on our Harleys obviously actually it'll probably be my first ride on ours since the pregnancy and having our little one)! Whoohoo! Although we only live about a 1/2 away in Johnson Creek, WI.
I wish you the best of luck. Here are some cities/towns you can try:
Johnson Creek, WI: Days Inn or Comfort Suites
Delafield, WI: Holiday Inn, LaQuinta Inn
Pewaukee, WI: Country Springs Hotel
Oconomowoc, WI: Olympia Resort & Spa
Another option that you may want to think about if you want to stay in the Milwa area, closer to the event, google houses for rent in Milwaukee for Harley Fest. You may also try Craigslist for houses for rent. A LOT of people do rent our their homes. It's a bit pricier BUT less travel.
Good LUCK!
You all have been so helpful!!
Pixy- Have an awesome time. I was able to join dh at Bike Week this year and we had a good time. When I was pg I rode the bike as long as the weather was still nice. After having my son I couldn't wait to get back on. Dh and I try to ride every Sunday after church as long as the weather is nice. It's our special time together.
If we can find a place to stay, I will still go. If we can't and he has to camp I will not join him.
