Newbie posting-anyone shop Macy's furniture outlet?

I'm a Parenting regular and live in the IE. We're looking for new couches and noticed Macy's has a furniture outlet in LA. Has anyone shopped there? What were the prices like?

We're always driving around SoCal, but want to make a worthwhile trip to LA if the deals are good. : )

Yes!  We bought a mattress there.  We got a brand new Stearns & Foster Cal King pillow top (that you don't have to flip over) for $1000 (orig price $5500)...... It was a floor model but never taken out of the plastic because not a speck of dust on it.  The furniture is usually scratched somewhere, but depending on where that piece is going (like if that side will be up against a wall) it may not matter.  Mattresses are probably the easiest find.....couches next easiest... most of the tables have top scratches so they aren't so good....  Definitely worth the trip IMO.

The stuff there was NMS, but there was some nice stuff. ?There is also a lot of crap (sectional couches - with only one section available, etc.) ?Worth the trip.

It definitely can be hit or miss...you may find something you love, but it has a knick or scratch or a piece is missing...I'd say it's worth checking out, especially if you are near by.
