Hi, I haven't been on in awhile. The house is going fast, too fast! They are just about finished painting the exterior and they are going to start on the interior next week. We haven't sold our current house yet
. Things are picking up I know we will sell it soon, I just don't know if it is going to be in time before we close on our new house. Oh well, everything will work out in the end. I will post a picture this weekend.
Do you have any fun plans for the summer? It is going to be a hot one tomorrow. Have a good weekend!

We don't really have any big summer plans yet. I have every intention of dragging DH's butt out camping more often this year though! We have been walking down by the river every night since the weather has been nicer. I dunno about today. It might be time to grab a few drinks and the tahiti and float down to the Old Mill!
What about you guys? Any plans yet?
We already have tickets to Las Vegas, but the budget is going to be tight if we don't sell by then. Where do you guys camp? I'm not a huge fan of camping, but going for a couple nights with a group of people is always fun.
You are brave to float down the river I bet the water is FREEZING!! This weekend the in-laws are in town, so hopefully we can get out and enjoy the nice weather.

Aww Vegas will be so much fun! I'm jealous! I've never been there before. H keeps saying one of these days we'll make it there, but I'm not holding my breath!
We have some friends that have a boat so we get to mooch off of them quite a bit in the summer. It's a good thing they like us so much
We have 3 places we usually go - Billy Chinook on the backside, Prineville Reservoir (sometimes in the campground, sometimes we boat across and camp on the shoreline), and Cultus Lake. Cultus is really only good at the end of the summer b/c it's so freakin cold up there.

Hahaha! I know it is random, but I had the craziest thing happen last weekend. We were holding our own open house because our realtor was out of town and guess what!?!?!?! The gay couple that was on Bridezillas came walking up our stairs! How weird is that? I knew it the moment I saw them. They live in Bend now. They were both really nice. I didn't bring up that I recognized them from the show. I was hoping they would buy our house.
Our house is going to have a side driveway with hopefully enough room to swing around into the side garage. They are painting the inside today!!
I love The Cove/Lake Billy Chinook. I spend most of my summers there in high school.

Oooh I love the painting part! Ok.. I loved the whole process, but getting the paint up is really fun too. Were you able to pick out the colors you wanted?
Get this... They FINALLY replaced our broken window last week, but I'm still waiting on the right glass to come in for our front door. And now they're trying to say it was going to cost more. Uh, no. I picked out this effing glass over a year ago. I'm about ready to biatch slap someone.
That sounds really frustrating!! I am already making a list. We aren't going to close until everything is perfect. We could use the extra time to sell our house

I always think everyone is interested in our house and it never turns out. I know it will happen when it happens. I'm trying not to think about it.
We haven't made it over to see the paint, but we did get to pick out all the colors, whatever we wanted! Actually they were all picked out by my DH.
Definitely keep a list and make them finish before they get paid! I always said I would do that and then I just never did. Ugh... makes me feel like a loser!
So when are they saying you should be finished?
