clubs etc
Hi Ladies,
I recently moved to St. Louis from minneapolis. I am looking for some clubs to join to help meet some new people here. Does anyone have any idea where those would be posted online etc?
Also any gyms that you can recommend? Were in kirkwood now but planning on moving soon, but I dont mind the drive since I dont have a job yet.

As far as clubs to meet people I am really not sure specifically but we usually go out in the city to Washington Street or the Landing (Morgan Street is our favorite) if we are looking to dance and drink. Otherwise we just go to a local bar to hang out and drink.
I think there is a piano bar in St. Charles now too I believe. My husband has a band that plays in the loop sometimes so we are there periodically at Cicero's. Lots of good places.
Try Metropolis St. Louis or River City Professionals.
As for gyms, I belong to 24-hour Fitness and like it. I go to the one at Woodlawn and Manchester in Kirkwood, but they have locations all over.
Fitness Factory downtown is really nice. Not sure it's the most convenient from Kirkwood though. If you are active, the St. Louis Track Club is a good running club for all abilities. http://www.stlouistrackclub.com/
