I feel like I can officially belong to this board now, and not be an imposter.
The wedding was absolutely perfect. The only thing I would have changed was the heat - the day we got married it was 102 degrees, and the heat index was 115. Our ceremony was outside, and we did pictures outside. By the time we came in for the reception, I honestly felt like I was going to throw up. My new FIL saved me by going and getting a bunch of cool wet washcloths, and I sat there at the table under them for the first 10 or 15 minutes of the dinner.
Our banquet manager at our venue was on vacation, and the person that was in charge in his absence was kind of a twit - she set our room up completely wrong, and we both hated it, but by the time we finally saw it, it was 5 minutes before dinner started, and too late to change it. Oh well.
We had so much fun the entire week with our friends and family that came. One thing I learned about doing a destination wedding is that there really wasn't a lot for me to do, so I was really able to kick back and just enjoy the day.
Pictures - I figure it'll take longer for me to figure out how to upload pictures here, so feel free to check out the Shutterfly site I started building. I only have a few pro pictures up, but I love them so far.
