Recommend Moving Company

Hello- We're looking to start getting quotes to move out of state 2400+ miles. We'd like to see how much a moving company would be. Can anyone recommend a moving company?

Thanks!

Re: Recommend Moving Company

  • we used atlas and moved 1100 miles.  It was $5000, but we had 8000 pounds of stuff.  It adds up quick.  Atlas was thru Ace Relocation.

  • we just moved from michigan to oregon and used ABF U-Pack. It worked out GREAT. Granted we had to do all the packing/loading/unloading..but it was the cheapest option we could find...cost a total of $2400 for 13 feet on the truck..they basically drop the trailer of a 28' truck at your house..you load it, then they pick it up and drive it to the destination, then drop it off at your new house and you unload it. (you have 3 days at each end to load/unload)

let me know if you want more info...
