Child-safe/non-toxic lawn fertilizer
Hi,
Does anyone here use a non-toxic fertilizer for their lawn? We have previously used the Scotts steps, but now that I will soon have a toddler, I want to make sure we are minimizing the use of chemicals and pesticides.
I think TruGreen may have an organic option, but I was hoping to see what others were doing.
Thanks!
Michelle
Re: Child-safe/non-toxic lawn fertilizer
Ok -- just wanted to add that I just spoke with TruGreen:
They have an "all natural" program that does not contain any chemicals, or a true organic solution made of "ground up chicken parts". Hmm.
The all natural is the one I am looking for, but he said that it does nothing for weeds or crabgrass. So, I'm interested if anyone is doing this or something similar. Thanks!
