Re: Ten Things Tuesday
1. I am supposed to get my official offer letter at work this week to change from temp to regular employee, and I want it NOW please!!
2. My boss is sick and I am afraid to catch it!!
3. Especially because C and I are visiting her parents this weekend.
4. It turned out the one day we spent with C's parents on the Cape last month was like a cruel tease (I thought this might happen), plus her dad just had surgery, so we scheduled a last minute visit. I'm looking forward to the road trip. We're going to drive part way Thursday night and booked this hotel that was a good deal and looks super nice - I hope it is!
5. I'm hoping the hotel pool is open late enough that I can go for a swim.
6. This week we're starting our sperm paperwork! (The bank we're using requires that you register with them, and there's a consent form, etc)
7. I want to go flea market shopping so bad! But the ones I want to go to are Sundays only, and we have plans every sunday for the next 5 weeks!
8. C worked late last night, so I ordered in. Having the leftovers for lunch. I love delivery.
9. Okay, can I have my offer now??
10. Confession: I watched an episode of 16 and Pregnant this week.

1) My renters gave their 30 day notice. I'm screwed if I don't get new renters ASAP
2) I feel like I have to burp but can't. It's been this way for 2 days
3) I'm getting new car insurance quotes and so far it looks like K and I can save about $800
4) I love that car insurance companies don't question our marriage
5) It just started raining, thunderstorms and all.
6) I'm jealous my wife is going to California a month from now
7) I have humus waiting for me in my lunch bag
8) I wonder if I drink a soda really fast if I'll burp and feel better

2) I really hope DW gets/is pregnant this time.

4) I can drink caffeine all day and sleep like a baby.
5)I am working on something completely mundane, yet am proud of myself for working at all when I just want to sit on the board.
6) If I were at home I could finish the house cleaning.
7) I hope my BFF visits this weekend - I haven't seen her since our ceremony.

1. We are implanting a new electronic medical record system today at work. No more paper. It chaotic here to say the least.
2. L and I are going to see The Color Purple tonight (the musical with Fantasia.) We are both really excited.
3. The boys had a hard transition back to our nanny this morning. L and I were home Fri, Sat, Sun and our nanny was out yesterday (we had a friend babysit) - but 4 days was a long time and there were a lot of tears and foot stomping this morning before I left.
4. I am like a bottemless pit today. I already ate a huge donut with chocolate and coconut and am ready for lunch. Sigh.
5. L's parents are coming this weekend. We are taking a Duck tour of DC with the kids. They are so excited!
6. We are trying to plan a CHEAP long weekend for the family. I don't know where to. Southwest is having a sale, but we really don't want to/can't spend $500 on airfare. That Beaches family resort looks great for the kids but isn't in the budget. I'd love to go to the Cape - but that isn't in the budget either. We'll probably end up at the Bethany or Rehoboth Beach. That means I'll have to put myself in a bathing suit this summer - so far I have avoided it.
7. I think I have convinced L to go to P-town for our 10th anniversary (sans kids) next summer. YAY!
8. I thought I ordered new clothes from Lands End, but they never came. Humph.
9. I woke up this morning at 4am totally spooning with Grayson. He was tucked prerfectly in my body. It made me happy.
10. I need to stop surfing the internet and do some work. I was so much more productive before the advent of the internet. Is it sad I remember work life without the internet?
2. I told her she could pick where we go and I'm praying she chooses Mongolian BBQ cause thats what I want
3. Oliva Cruises are now doing payment plans at $64 a month per person for the cruise in October. I could probably swing it but tickets to port out of Florida, passports, missing work, the fact that T isnt working, and making sure someone can take care of the kids for a week just isnt in the cards
4. I got more done in the first two hours of work today then I did all day yesterday and now i'm ready to play
5. I'm taking Thursday and Friday off of work and am already swamped with plans. So much for relaxing
6. The boys Dad is taking them out of town for a week starting this weekend, i'm excited for some alone time with T
7. I cut my hair super short this weekend its still feminine but i'm still in shock. The response from people has been good though.
8. I'm extremely frustrated at the medical profession, after a year of treating MS with T they now find out that shes anemic, has bleeding ulcers and H. Pylori (which i might have too since its communicable) and that the symptoms of these are the same as MS and she may not really have it.
9. My hours got cut at work a month ago, i picked up the missing hours working on the side for my real bosses wife. I make more money now and do less work then i did before which is AWESOME!
10.I am spending far too much time trying to find good pricing on a hotel for our trip to Seattle in October to see Pink in concert
1) I also got the olivia $64/month email and considered it for longer than i should have.
2) we had a fire drill this morning which means that I had to walk down 22 flights of stairs and a half mile from the building. in heels.
3) I have no idea what i'm making for dinner tonight. i'm so sick of cooking.
4) I saw a girl today who couldn't be older than 17 pushing a baby in a stroller and rockin a 7-8 month baby bump. I'll never pretend to understand life.
5) Yesterday I got to try on a bunch of pretty sparkly rings at the jewelry store. I was helping Andrea get some ideas for our 10th anniv
6) My security badge still has my maiden name on it. It expires in 2011 and i'm actually lazy enough to consider waiting until then to get a new one.
7) i need to spend a better part of the weekend working on the gardens in front of my house. they are looking baaaaaaad.
8) i'm nervous/scared/anxious/excited/hopeful for this month.
9) i'm a terrible nail biter. my fingers are stubs.
10) In the bathroom this morning, one of my coworkers (i could tell who it was by her shoes and voice) was talking on the phone while peeing. worse than that, i could tell it was a work call.

Bloggity Blog - You know you want to...
1. I got a new ( to me at least) car yesterday. An 07 Kia Sorento and I love it.
2. I am now spending a lot of time wondering if it was stupid of me to take on a car payment now.
3. I am really tired of doing laundry.
4. I wish Carol and I never had to go back to work and could stay on family leave forever.
5. Annie has bad constipation and has been crying while trying to poop for 2 days. I feel like a bad mom cause I can't fix it for her.
6. Had dinner last night with two very good friends who are just the perfect couple for each other.
7. I really enjoyed our side trip to Niagara Falls. I didn't think I would like it as much as I did. I actually want to make a weekend trip up there sometime soon again.
8. Sometimes I wish I could jsut throw everything we own away and start over so I didn't have to deal with the clutter and mess.
9. I have about 40 boxes in my guest room with no place to put them and a friend coming to stay at our house in three weeks.
10. I have become horribly addicted to facebook.
