Anyone work for ESPN??

I know they are based out of Bristol, so I thought this would be a good place to post.

DH (and probably every other man) would love to work for ESPN. He is currently in a data analyst position for a great company in the Dallas/Fort Worth (TX) area ... but I was just curious. He is planning to do graduate school in about a year and then he will try his luck with ESPN. He is an absolute sports freak and great with numbers ... I know if he ever landed a job with ESPN, it'll be heaven on earth for him.

If you or your spouse work there ... is it what you thought it would be? How does it differ from previous jobs?

Thanks Ladies!

Re: Anyone work for ESPN??

  • My friend's DH works there. He seems to like it. But, from what I've heardd, the pay is less than there than at another company with a comparable job. I really know nothing else.
  • My ex from high school had a friend who worked for ESPN.  He was happy with the perks (like seeing all the awesome trophies and free trips to Disney), but he left because of the low pay, like pp said.
