Update from yesterday...

So DS has croup and a throat and ear infection.  The doctor thinks its all related and all viral, so we can only treat with rest and Tylenol.  He slept pretty good last night, he went to sleep after only 45 mins of coughing.  Hopefully he has turned the corner on it.

I think my interview went well, I find out today if I get the job.  Its just a work at home market research position for me to do in the evenings.  I just need something to bring in a little more $$, and since DH already works 3 jobs, I feel like I need a 2nd one to try and help out.  I go back to work at my regular job at the end of  August.  The $200 a week I am getting from EI just isn't cutting it.

Now I need to try to give my cat her pill...we are going onto attempt #2 for the morning.  She growled and tried to bite me the first time.  She is such a snob.

Re: Update from yesterday...

  • Poor little man! I hope that he has turned the corner and will be feeling better soon.

Good luck with the job! I hope it goes well. So you would be calling people as part of the market research job - doing surveys type thing?

  • Yup it would be doing surveys.  But not selling, so I can do that!

  • Poor DS! I'm glad it's only viral and it should work its way out of his system soon.

Good luck with the job prospect!

Cats and pills are NO FUN. My mom would struggle and struggle with ours - he had to take pills every day b/c he had epilepsy.

  • Tip for giving the cat her pill - hide it in some cheese. Our cat used to love getting his pills:)
  • I hope your son gets better soon, poor little guy.

    Congrats on getting the job!

And I had to laugh at the comment about your cat being a snob. I hope you got it to take the pill!
