We just got back last night. My family is still there but we had to come back because DH had to go to school tonight. Tonight is the first night that I've been alone in 6 days! It's too quiet!!
The cottage we rented was great. They thought of everything we could need and provided it. They were really thoughtful in their preparations. i would recommend it to anyone.
I was worried about DD being able to sleep in a new place but she did really well. At night she went right to bed and we still had the regular nap issues we do at home.
I'm not a big outdoors kind of girl but I did have a good time. The lake was way too cold to swim in bt in general the weather was nice. We got sunburns and tons of mosquito bites. I'm so itchy!! We got to go out on the boat and paddle boats. DH taught me to fish - which I suprisingly enjoyed. I really wanted to take out the canoe but the weather got bad on our last day.
Now that I've had my first cottage experience I would definitely do it again. Now DH wants to get me to go camping but I don't think I can handle that!
