Critique my invite please.

I haven?t done an invite since our wedding.  Is this laid out properly? Should the ?R? in Requests be capitalized?  And in the second paragraph should the ?On? and ?At? be capitalized?  I do have an email for the RSVP.  Thanks!

Re: Critique my invite please.

  • I'm not 100% certain, so wait for some other responses, but I don't think any of the words in question should be capatalized.  Will people know what "appropriate attire" is?
  • I don't think they need to be capitalized - but I'm not 100% sure

I agree the PP - will everyone know what appropriate attire means?

  • You're right, I just researched invite etiquette, no capitalization at all.  I hope people know what "appropriate attire" is because that part is in the standard operating code for sending out invites for military functions and I can't change it.

I've never attended a military function, so I didn't know that.  In that case, looks good!

  • Do you need all of the "ons" and "ats"?  I think it sounds just as good if you leave them off and then you don't have to worry about capitalization at all.  ;)
  • sorry - can't help you

I started thinking about men in uniforms and my heart skipped a beat....I can't think straight

    Love it!

  • I made a few changes, taking out some of the little words that aren't necessary.
