I just found out today that salary employees do not get a floating holiday for July 4th!  I was so pissed, how can they not give us a holiday?

One more day of work and then a long weekend get away.  Can't wait to get out of town.

My invites went out for my 30th birthday party today.  I can't believe I'm turning 30.

We are too and I can't wait!  I just loaded up on sunscreen at Target over my lunch break since it's on sale (it was a total PITA since they didn't ring up correctly, but that's another story .... ).  Where are you going?  We're staying at Excellence Playa Mujeres.

 

Catalonia Riviera Maya in Puerto Aventuras!

My MIL said that everyone had been super nice and the resort she is staying at (El Cozumeleno) is very quiet.  The staff is bending over backwards to cater to them (my 16 year old BIL and herself).  Their rooms were ready when they checked in last Saturday at 10am!   I'm glad she is having a good time.  I can't wait to go!

I think I need to haul my 11 year old nephew to Target today.  (He is staying with us since his mom is in the hospital with his new sister.)
