Any Temecula nesties?

My husband and I are looking to move to Temecula in the next 6 months. Does anyone live close? I am a little anxious about it and would love to hear some advice or experiences.

Page Amanda (BBKiddo). She lives in Murrieta which is right next door to Temecula.  She grew up there!

me me me! I do I have lived in Murrieta 20+ years and love it. Like Tessa said I grew up here. The school district is great and while we have grown a ton since 88' it still feels sorta small town to me  I bought a home here to raise my kids. the commutes can be crappy but for the low cost of living I think it's worth it.

I lived in Pala for 16 years which is right by Temecula.

Hi! It sounds like you all like the area. We are going house hunting on August 1st. I am very excited about it all! The area is beautiful and I love the heat.

Any recs on which neighborhoods are nice? We looked at a home in Morgan Hill and it was beautiful. I would like to be a little closer to the wineries though.

Morgan Hill is beautiful! The Paloma Del Sol community is popular. It has a great community pool but from what I remember the tax rate and HOA fees are a bit high. I love where we live. We are technically in Murrieta but in Temecula school district so we have low taxes still. Our HOA is one of the lowest I found while house shopping too and our house is pretty new (2004). Plus there is a back road right by us that puts us less than a 10 minute drive to the wineries but still 10 mins or less to the freeway. Here is our community:
