Any inside on when Lowe's does good sales/coupons? We're looking into finishing our attic (mainly ourselves). So I'm hunting down some good deals.

You have to have the coupon for the $10 off a $50 purchase.
As far as the ad goes, don't think that everything is a bargain. I've noticed that, for the most part, the things in the ad aren't marked down, but rather the price in the ad is how much it always is.
If you're finishing your attic, 4X8 sheets of drywall are pretty inexpensive at Lowe's. If you want, call other places (home depot, menards) and find out how much it runs there. If it's cheaper, Lowe's will beat the price by 10%.
If you're in Peoria, patio furniture is currently 30% off and perennials are 3/$10.
