As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Anyone from/know about Shreveport?
I know you all aren't close to Shreveport, but they don't have their own board. So, I was hoping I might find some nesties with experience with the city.
My DH's boss keeps asking him to move there as a transfer from their company (he's in oil and gas). It's a great opportunity for him to learn, but we don't know a lot about the area. We're wanting to know more about what are nice cities around the area, neighborhoods, etc.
Anyone have any input? Thanks!

I haven't lived there in over 15 years, but I loved growing up there while I did. I know it's built up a lot since we lived there, so I'm not sure what the good neighborhoods would be anymore. If my H were asked to move there, I would definitely consider it.
ETA: I'd also post this on the Baton Rouge board if you haven't already, as it's at least a little closer to Shreveport and you might get more responses.
