Hi Everyone!
I'm new on The Nest as we just got married on June 6th! Yay! 
Anyways, my husband and I have lived in Virginia for 2.5 years now and have been in Fredericksburg for about 1.5 of those years. I really like this area but don't know anyone down here in F'burg. I work in Alexandria so all of my friends in the DC Metro area are local to Alexandria, not to F'burg. Also, my husband travels for his job so the majority of the time I'm here on my own.
So what I'm getting at is that I'm wondering if anyone on here is interested in another friend in the Fredericksburg area? I feel like a total loser posting this but I find it's very difficult to meet people now a days. If anyone is interested in getting together for coffee or a glass of wine, feel free to holler at me!

My MIL is moving to F'burg in the middle of August. So we'll be down there afair amount visiting her. Dh is the oldest, and although he is not a momma's boy... is mom seems to think that he is! lol, so we visit her a bunch.

Hello, Melissa - Congrats on your recent wedding! I was married last June. I love The Nest and The Knot but I have never posted on the VA board before. I am originally from PA and moved down here 3 years ago to teach for Spotys Co. It is very hard to meet new people here.
