Moms/Pgs- BM dress question

I need to get my BM dress for a wedding in October. I'll be 24 weeks so I had figured I would have a bump at that point so I've been holding off as long as I can to get my dress.

Since I am the MOH the bride says I can get any satin dress that comes in her color. I tried calling the store and getting their advice on what size to order but they were no help.

I am 12 weeks now and have no bump at all. Thanks to my morning sickness even my bloat baby is gone because I've lost so much weight.  I am hoping to get an empire style since they are more forgiving but should I go up 1 size or two?

What do you think?

Re: Moms/Pgs- BM dress question

  • Everybody grows at their own rate. I didn't really have a bump at all with my first pregnancy, but definitely looked pregnant by 24 weeks time with my second. I think you'd be fine with going one size up, but you can always go 2 just to be safe and have it taken in : )
  • I think you'll be good going 1 size up, especially if its empire waist. That style will be perfect.
