Consignment Shops (Women's or Children's)

What are your favorites in the area? The only one I have found is in Winter Park (on Park Ave). Thanks!

Re: Consignment Shops (Women's or Children's)

  • Are you talking for buying or selling?  I just sold a bunch of Rylie's clothes to Once Upon A Child (the one on 50 near Fashion Sq) and got a lot more money than I would have gotten if I sold them in a yard sale.  I briefly looked around the store and they had a TON of cute clothes for kids...a lot that still had the original tags on them.
  • Several of my friends sell their own and their kids' clothes at Sweet Repeats in Oviedo.  It's in the "downtown Oviedo" area by 434.  I believe they pay you after your clothes sell, so you get a check in the mail weeks later.  It seemed a little odd to me but one friend just got a check for $150 so I'm thinking about dropping off some stuff there too!
  • I love Once Upon A Child.  I haven't sold anything there, but they have tons of clothes with tags still on them or in like new condition.  I have gotten things there with tags still on them for under $10.

  • I like Once Upon A Child too! I just took a bunch of Maddox's clothes there, along with a snap n' go stroller and got $100. They are part of the same franchise as Plato's Closet...another cool place. I took some of my clothes and a few older Coach purses there once and got almost $200. The nice thing about those stores compared to most other stores is that you get cash on the spot rather than waiting for it to sell. They pay the same percentages as most other consignments.
  • I've sold stuff at Classic Consignment.  They have a few location in town.  One of their locations just began accepting men's clothes.

  • D'Echoes has two locations ... one in College Park near Publix, and the other is on 50 across from Total Wine.
  • There is a 3rd Dechoes by Curry Ford, but you have to make an appointment to sell at Dechoes
