Hi there! So...I am new to this board because I have been posting on TheKnot Wisconsin boards until I get married in August (at that time I will switch over to TheNest boards). However, I thought that this question would be best suited for you lovely ladies on TheNest boards, so I hope that you don't mind!
I am looking for any advice as to how I can get my name out there for babysitting opportunities. I am a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and have been unable to secure full-time employment as of yet. I am now looking into a part-time semi-regular babysitting job, but am open to the idea of a full-time nanny job as well.
I have babysat for one family for the last decade and am unsure of how I can go about meeting new families that need an enthusiastic and experienced babysitter. I have heard of websites such as sittercity and care.com, but am not sure if they are legitimate or safe to use? Does anyone have any experience with these sites or have any other suggestions? Any advice would be greatly appreciated...sorry for my novel long post. TIA!!
Re: Babysitting
Try
www.helpinghandnannies.com
Rest Assured Nanny Agency
Or enannysource.com or Craigslist.com
Those are a few spots I would try first GL
When I was a nanny during college (in MKE), I used:
Nanny Connections
eNanny Source
Good Luck!

I'm signed up on care.com but I haven't used anyone from there yet.
